Grief doesn’t follow a map, and no two journeys are the same. This is mine.
If you’ve found your way here because you’ve lost someone you love, I’m truly sorry for your loss.
Grief can leave you feeling lost, lonely and wondering if life will ever feel normal again.
This website isn’t written by a counsellor or a psychologist.
It’s written by someone who has lived through loss.
I don’t have all the answers, and I won’t tell you how you should grieve. There is no right or wrong way.
All I can do is share my own journey.
I lost my beloved dog, Charley, and not long afterwards I lost my mum. Although both losses were heartbreaking, they affected me in very different ways. Alongside grief came responsibility as I became the executor of my mum’s estate and found myself navigating probate while trying to heal.
This website is simply my story.
The tears.
The difficult days.
The unexpected moments of hope.
And the lessons I learned along the way.
If reading my journey helps even one person feel a little less alone, then sharing it has been worthwhile.
Welcome.
Let’s begin.
